What
is the Purpose of The Chaplaincy?
 From the start, those who founded
The Chaplaincy felt the power of the love of God so deeply, that
they wanted to respond to the people of their community with
the same sense of love. They were very aware of the sad, difficult
and even frightening moments that happen to everyone at some
time. They wanted to respond with compassion to the sick and
the dying; to those who have lost a loved one; who have been
abused; who have experienced the tragedy of fire or accident;
to those who are in grief and did not know which way to turn
for help. They wanted to support workers who had to deal with catastrophic situations, and provide a forum for
chaplains to support
and educate each other.
